United were held to a slightly disappointing 0-0 draw with Shifnal Town at Phoenix Park this evening. In a game of few chances Jon Adams and Danny Carey Bertram both went close for a below-par Bucks side, but were unable to break the deadlock and the hard-working hosts held on for a deserved draw.

The game featured a debut start for Dave McGuire in the United goal - Swiss trialist midfielder Kevin Vogeli was also introduced in the second half and aquitted himself well on an evening where outstanding performances were thin on the ground.
